Improved control with SMS security
We recognise that online privacy and security is critical – especially when it comes to money matters. That’s why our internet banking requires all customers to register a unique mobile number – not used by anyone else – for SMS security.
SMS security reduces the risk of fraud through the use of one-time passwords being used to authorise transactions, such as:
- Transferring money to a new payee or biller (BPAY)
- Adding a new payee or biller directly to your address book
- Updating your personal details
- Registering or logging in to internet banking for the first time
- Resetting your password.
If you already have a unique mobile number linked to your account but it’s not enabled for SMS security, you can register it by calling us on 13 1905 or visiting your local branch.
Not registered for Internet Banking?
Before using Internet Banking, you will need to register for the service. You can do this by completing our Online Access Form or visiting your local Bank branch.
