The Crystal CavesThe Crystal Caves:

Situated in the Main street of Atherton on the Atherton Tablelands, The Crystal Caves offers a self-guided tour through a manmade cave that René Boissevain built to share his collection of more than 600 natural crystals and prehistoric fossils.

This natural history museum is open 7 days a week attracting 15000 visitors domestically and internationally each year.  The tour includes the opportunity to select and break open a 44million year old geode to be the first to see the crystals inside.

The Crystal Caves educates young and old about natures treasures in an interactive manner.
