Support for financial hardship: Insurance claims

RACQ Insurance is here to help you when an unexpected life event impacts your ability to pay your excess or repay money owed due to an insurance claim.

Apply for financial hardship for an insurance claim

Am I eligible to claim financial hardship?

Financial hardship can be caused by many factors - such as losing your job, reduced income, or an unexpected and costly emergency. If you’re experiencing difficulties making payments to RACQ relating to an insurance claim for the collection of an excess or a debt recovery, then you can apply for financial hardship assistance.

I’m experiencing financial hardship and need help with my other RACQ products, can you help?

If you’re struggling to make payments for loans, insurance premiums or roadside assistance products held through RACQ, our team can help you. For more information about how we can help you, visit our website here.
