Secondary schools from throughout Queensland compete in this event to design, build and race a variety of human-powered vehicles.

Bike Week

RACQ provides financial and logistical support to Bicycle Queensland in the staging of this event to encourage healthy lifestyle involvement.

Education Queensland Showcase Awards for Excellence - RACQ Excellence in the Senior Phase of Learning Award

Education Queensland's Showcase Awards for Excellence recognise and reward state schools for education practices that significantly improve student's learning outcomes. RACQ Combined Council Rally

RACQ Litter Prevention Award - Tidy Towns

RACQ pioneered Queensland's anti-litter movement in the 1960s. Continuing this tradition, RACQ is proud to sponsor the efforts of Keep Australia Beautiful (Queensland) to reduce the amount of roadside litter through the Litter Prevention Award - a section of the annual Ergon Tidy Towns Awards. Older People Speak Out (OPSO)

RACQ provides support for this worthy organisation to take the Club's Years Ahead program to older Queenslanders in regional centres. Queensland Road Safety Awards

In conjunction with the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety (CARRS-Q), RACQ presents these awards to encourage and recognise community road safety initiatives. Find out more about the Queensland Road Safety Awards.

Queensland Week - RACQ Big BBQ

RACQ sponsors the Big BBQ held annually in June at Roma St Parklands, as part of the Queensland Government's Queensland Week celebrations.

Queensland Wildlife Rehabilitation Council Magazine

RACQ provides funding to this not-for-profit organisation to supply a quarterly magazine to the volunteer carers of injured wildlife throughout Queensland. Many of Queensland's wildlife are injured by vehicles. Click here for more information on the Queensland Wildlife Rehabilitation Council.

Road Safety Docudramas

RACQ provides financial assistance to stage a series of docudramas for secondary schools. These productions depict realistic recreations of crash scenes with expert commentary provided by road safety professionals.

Tertiary Scholarships and Prizes

RACQ provides a variety of tertiary scholarships and prizes in fields related to the Club's core interests, such as traffic and automotive engineering, police traffic law studies and tourism and hospitality.
