How do I cancel my pet insurance?

You can cancel your pet insurance online using My RACQ. To make this easy, we've provided a handy list of steps to follow. Please note: You may be directed to Click to Chat or receive a callback to finalise your cancellation.

To cancel your pet insurance:

  • icon-step-1
    Log in to My RACQ here to access your insurance dashboard.
  • icon-step-2
    Select the pet insurance policy you wish to cancel.
  • icon-step-3
    Scroll down to the 'Policy summary' section and select 'Cancel policy'.
  • icon-step-4
    Complete the form to cancel your policy. This form includes 'Reason for cancellation', 'Cancellation date', 'Refund details', 'Review' and 'Cancellation confirmation' sections. To cancel your pet insurance, you must complete all sections.
