It’s time to act on climate change
Climate change is undeniable. Extreme weather events are repeatedly impacting Queensland communities. At RACQ, we’re taking steps to reduce our environmental impact.
We’re committed to achieving net-zero emissions across scopes 1–3 no later than 2050.
In the meantime, we’ve set an interim net-zero target for our operations by 2030. We’ll do this by:
- Shifting to 100% renewable electricity for our owned buildings by 2024.
- Transitioning our roadside fleet to low emissions alternatives.
- Purchasing offsets to reduce emissions if our fleet transition to net-zero is not feasible by 2030 because alternative vehicle technologies are not tested and proven.
Together, change is possible. And it starts with us.
