As the world moves towards more sustainable modes of transport, we must ensure Queensland transforms its manufacturing industries and is not left behind.
While RACQ supports the National Battery Strategy’s vision to develop local battery manufacturing, our submission is also focused on electric vehicle manufacturing.
The Federal Government must recognise the need to transition Queensland’s vehicle manufacturing industry to electric to maximise opportunities for local jobs and future-proof our State’s economy.
