Your essential guide to MotorFest 2026

If you’re looking to test drive some of the latest electric vehicles, marvel at hundreds of classic and vintage cars, or simply have a great and cheap family day out – you do not want to miss RACQ’s biggest community event.
At just $2 per person with kids under three free, it’s a day not to be missed. Here’s what to look forward to at this year’s event:
Vehicle displays
Over 650 vehicles on display from across the globe, including Australia, Britian, France, Germany, Italy, Asia, the US and more!
Future Zone
Come and see the latest electric and hybrid vehicles from Subaru, Toyota, Geely, Leapmotor and Eagers Automotive.
Test Drive Zone
Experience the latest in vehicle technology by getting behind the wheel of an EV or Hybrid. Test drives can be booked directly with the vehicle manufacturers in the Future Zone but be quick they book up fast!
Kids’ Zone
Kids’ Zone is the place to be and, best of all, every activity is free! From rides to face painting, roving entertainment, activities and more, there’s fun to be had for all ages.
Mercedes-Benz centenary
Come along and marvel at more than 70 Mercedes-Benz vehicles on display. Mercedes-Benz has shaped the history of the motor car for a century, pioneering automotive safety innovations to setting benchmarks in luxury, performance, and engineering excellence.
Main Stage action
Head to the stage on the main arena at 10:30am to find out the lucky winners of this year’s awards ceremony which will be followed by the unveiling of a new addition to the RACQ Historic Fleet. Stick around to enjoy the fun of the best-dressed fashion parade at 11:30am.
Live music
Enjoy live music on the main stage from Brisbane band ‘No Blame’ from 12-2:45pm.
Meet and greets
Don’t miss your chance to get an exclusive autograph and selfie from one of our onsite sporting legends:
- 11:30am – 12:30pm: Former Origin Great Corey Oates at the RACQ Community Stall on the Main Arena.
- 12:00pm – 1pm: Natalya Diehm (Olympic Freestyle BMX bronze medallist) at the Queensland Academy of Sport Stall in the Kids’ Zone.
- 12:30pm – 1pm: Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood (professional race car drivers) at the Personalised Plates Stall on the Main Arena.
Caravan safety
Our team of experts will be hosting Caravan Safety Presentations at the Mobile Member Centre at 11:30am and 1:30pm, head on over to learn more about weight compliance, safe towing and caravan maintenance.
RACQ merchandise
Grab yourself a limited edition RACQ Cap or RACQ Umbrella from the Merchandise Stall on the Main Arena. We’ll also have this year’s MotorFest badge featuring 100 Years of Mercedes-Benz for sale.
Snap & Go Photobooth
Head to the RACQ Travel Insurance photobooth, located in the Main arena, to snap a fun photo with family, friends or loved ones! Perfect for remembering your MotorFest day together.
RACQ Community stall
Visit the RACQ Community stall in the main arena to explore ways you can get involved in volunteer opportunities, pick up practical tips on child road safety and eco-driving, and go into the draw to win fuel vouchers.
MotorFest stalls
- Explore a range of interactive stalls across the event, featuring giveaways, demonstrations, exclusive offers and hands-on activities for all ages. From automotive experts and member services to kids’ entertainment and future-focused experiences, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

When: Sunday 14 June, 10am–3pm.
Where: Brisbane Showgrounds, 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills.
How much: The entry price is $2 per person (card payment available) with kids under 3 free.
All gate takings from MotorFest today are proudly contributed to the RACQ Community Trust which supports communities across Queensland.
Will there be food and drink available?
A variety of food and beverage outlets are available across the event site, offering a range of delicious options, including choices to suit different dietary requirements. You’ll find vendors located around the Main Arena, Kids’ Zone and on Gregory Terrace. Refer to the site map for locations.
How do I get there?
TRAIN: Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley train stations are less than a 10-minute walk from the Brisbane Showgrounds. Please refer to the translink journey planner for any track closures that may impact your journey.
BUS: Buses service the streets surrounding the Brisbane Showgrounds regularly. The main bus stops are on Bowen Bridge Road outside The Old Museum and on St Pauls Terrace near King Street. For further information, visit the TransLink website or phone 13 12 30.
BIKE: There are numerous bike racks on King Street, including outside CAMS Cycling Collective. A map of Brisbane's bikeways can be found on the Brisbane City Council website.
Is there parking available?
There are three paid parking facilities within the Brisbane Showgrounds. These are located on Gregory Terrace, O'Connell Terrace and King Street. Parking is $25 per vehicle.
Please visit the Brisbane showgrounds website for more information on parking, including rates. Disabled parking is available within several carparks surrounding the event and the passenger drop-off zone located on Gregory Terrace will be situated close to the event entry point.
There is also Herston Road Car Park available on Herston Road, approximately a 10-minute walk to the venue.

Is the event accessible?
With the exception of the oval, which has a grass and dirt surface, the majority of MotorFest is set up on bitumen making it easily accessible by wheelchair.
