Flat or faulty batteries
Leaving lights on or infrequent use can drain your battery unexpectedly. If your battery is flat, we'll provide you with a jumpstart or organise a replacement battery (for an additional cost).
Flat tyres
Whether it’s a slow leak or a sudden puncture, we’ll replace your flat with your vehicle’s spare so you can get going again.
Running out of fuel
If you’ve pushed it a bit too far, we’ll deliver emergency fuel to get you back on the road. Depending on your level of cover, the cost of fuel may be at your own expense.
Locked in keys
It happens more often than you think. If you’ve locked your keys inside your car, RACQ can help you regain access quickly and safely.
Mechanical issues
Some problems can’t be fixed on the spot. If that’s the case, we’ll tow your vehicle to a nearby mechanic so you’re not left stranded.

How to renew your RACQ Roadside Assistance

You can renew your RACQ Roadside Assistance online via My RACQ before your cover expires. To make it easy, we’ve outlined the steps below.

Log in to your My RACQ account to access your roadside assistance dashboard
Log in to renew
Select the yellow “Pay now” button for the roadside assistance cover you wish to renew
This button will only appear approximately 30 days prior to the expiry of your RACQ Roadside Assistance
Complete the steps to renew your roadside assistance
Fill in the details and make payment with an active credit card to renew your roadside

Please note: If you have direct debit payments set up for your roadside assistance, we will automatically debit from your nominated account on the due date of your renewal. You can manage your direct debit payment in My RACQ. Simply click on your roadside assistance product and select the “manage direct debit” tile.
