Supporting a fair and accessible transition for Queensland communities

The way Queenslanders move and power their lives is changing. Cleaner energy and electric transport bring real opportunities - but only if communities can access them.

RACQ is supporting an inclusive transition by focusing on practical action in communities, particularly across regional Queensland. Our role is to help break down barriers, support local organisations, and ensure the benefits of change are felt by everyone, now and into the future.

Our ambition

  • Supercharge our regions: Connect regional Queensland communities with access to reliable public EV charging, supporting mobility, tourism and local economies.
  • Brighten our communities: Support community clubs to generate renewable energy, helping deliver clean power while strengthening local sustainability and reducing costs.

What RACQ is doing

We support an inclusive transition by working alongside partners, backing practical initiatives, and advocating for fair access, with a focus on action on the ground.
