RACQ Group Executive Banking Michelle Winzer said the mutual bank was continually improving systems, processes and procedures to ensure members had the best experience when banking with RACQ.

“We’re continuing to update our payment capability and members may have recently noticed their transfers reaching other bank recipients quicker than before,” Ms Winzer said.

“We’ve also made changes to enhance the user experience including simplifying the process for members with internet banking to open new term deposit accounts online and implementing notifications for members who have a scheduled transfer fail.

“To be more environmentally friendly, we’ve also made it easier for members to switch their statement preference to online.”

Ms Winzer said the bank had recently reviewed and consolidated loan products to ensure they met the needs and priorities of members.

“We want to give our members the right home loan to help them reach their property goals, which is why we’ve reviewed our products to ensure we’re only offering our members the best,” she said.

“We’ve also optimised our internal processes to approve home loans in a shorter time, meaning members can get loan approvals faster, making them more competitive buyers in this tough market.”
