Ms Winzer, who would join the State’s largest mutual in December, was set to bring her years of experience in the banking sector where she had led teams at firms including Westpac and the Commonwealth Bank, to deliver market leading customer service.

Ms Winzer said she was looking forward to being a part of a member-owned, values-based organisation.

“I’m very excited to be joining the RACQ team,” Ms Winzer said.

“To be on the leadership team for a business with such a strong and trusted brand is an honour.

“I feel there is a very strong alignment between RACQ’s purpose and values and mine and I look forward to serving our members and the broader Queensland community.”

After moving from Melbourne for the role, Ms Winzer will commence on 2 December.
