Your Club is here for you through COVID-19

News
As Queenslanders deal with the health and economic impacts of coronavirus, RACQ’s new Group CEO David Carter is reassuring the Club’s over 1.7 million members RACQ is here to help them through the pandemic.

“Our State’s no stranger to a crisis, and we want you to know we’re doing everything we can to support you, especially those of you who are really doing it tough financially.

We’ve bolstered our Hardship team which is there to support anyone going through financial stress as a result of coronavirus. Whether it be to pause your mortgage repayment, or to talk about your insurance or roadside assistance cover, please lodge your application online and our team will call you back to talk through the options.

And, despite some obvious changes to the health and safety precautions our on-road and branch teams are taking, we’re still operating as we always have. While there are fewer people on the roads right now and our travel joint venture has suffered significantly, we continue to be here for you if you break down on the side of the road – and we’re just a phone call away if you need to discuss your banking needs or an insurance claim.

It’s only week two for me in the Group CEO chair, but as a long-term member of RACQ and a proud Queenslander myself, I know my number one job is to make sure we’re doing our best to support our members and to deliver value.

We’re in a very strong position and we’ll get through this period. What you can count on is we’ll be here when you need us most, and we’ll support you through these the good times and the more challenging times.”
