Group Chief Executive Officer of RACQ.

Joining in March 2020, David leads the Club to deliver long-term, sustainable value to its 1.7 million members. With 30 years’ experience helping guide financial services institutions, including Suncorp Group and ANZ Limited, to success, David has a strong connection to his home state of Queensland. David is a Certified Practicing Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce.

Group Company Secretary

Brad is company secretary for all the legal entities within the RACQ Group and heads the Group Secretariat with responsibility for group-wide corporate governance matters, including managing all matters associated with the efficient and effective operation of the various boards and committees and of each annual general meeting. Brad is a chartered company secretary and governance professional with more than 20 years’ experience in senior management and similar governance roles in both private enterprise and the public sector across a range of industries.

Tracy Green Tracy Green

Group Executive Insurance

Tracy Green joined RACQ in February 2018 as General Manager Insurance Product and Pricing before becoming Acting CEO Insurance in July 2019. Tracy was permanently appointed to the role in June 2020 under its new title Group Executive Insurance. She has more than 25 years’ experience in general insurance, having held executive position across multiple functions in the value chain including, portfolio management, product and pricing innovation, claims management and distribution. Prior to joining RACQ, Tracy held executive positions at IAG, Suncorp and TIO.

Tracy is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) and has a Bachelor of Commerce.

Michael Lonergan Michael Lonergan

Group Chief Financial Officer

As Group Chief Financial Officer, Michael is responsible for managing RACQ’s overall financial position and reporting on financial performance across the Group. This includes management, financial and regulatory reporting, budget and financial forecasts and taxation compliance. Michael oversees the management of the Group’s investment portfolios and is responsible for the management of Group property activities. Michael joined the RACQ Group in 2002 as Financial Controller for RACQ Insurance before being appointed to Chief Financial Officer – RACQ Insurance in August 2007. Prior to joining RACQ Insurance, Michael held accounting and financial management roles across a number of industries including sports management and construction.

Chief People Officer

As Chief People Officer, Heidi oversees the strategic human resource direction across the RACQ Group. With a HR career spanning more than 25 years and multiple industry sectors, Heidi is experienced in aligning people practices to organisational culture values and business strategy. Heidi’s areas of responsibilities include organisational development, learning and development, human resources, compensation and benefits, and industrial relations. Heidi is an internationally-experienced and industry-recognised human resources and corporate shared services executive with a track record in business transformation and people performance.

Group Executive Assistance

As Group Executive Assistance, Glenn leads a large team which provide a range of 24/7 automotive and lifestyle solutions to members including roadside assistance, batteries, automotive glass, travel and the Mobility Centre of Excellence. Glenn has more than 30 years’ commercial experience in operations and logistics. He is Chair of RACQ Automotive Services and Members Travel Group, a Director of Club Assist Corporation, RACQ Operations, Australian Club Consortium and ACC CAD. He also chairs the Corporate Advisory Board for the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors.

Paul Turner Paul Turner


Chief Communications Officer

Paul is responsible for ensuring the interests of 1.7 million Queensland motorists and their families are promoted and protected through constructive engagement and effective communication with governments, industry, media, other road user groups, and the wider community. This includes responsibility for The Road Ahead magazine, media and government relations, public and safety policy and community sponsorship and education. Paul has a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years in private organisations and government and is a Director Life Flight Queensland.

Group Chief Risk Officer

Mark is the Chief Risk Officer for the RACQ Group and leads the risk and compliance division. With a career spanning over 40 years and across Australia, Hong Kong, the UK and South Africa, Mark has led the transformation of risk, compliance and actuarial functions across insurance and banking for major global institutions including Prudential and Old Mutual. Mark is a firm believer in risk adding value to our members and has a passion for developing risk culture and making risk part of what we do every day. In Australia, Mark has held senior risk roles with CBA, MLC and QBE.
