Tiny house company Tiny Away that’s all about experiencing nature in comfort, has grown its network of rural getaways in Queensland.

Boasting a range of stunning designs and state-of-the-art features both inside and outside, these self-sufficient “compact homes on wheels” are made with sustainable materials and include waterless compost toilets, rainwater collection tanks for showers, and solar panels.

Founder Jeff Yeo said Tiny Away stay gave people a chance to experience the tiny house lifestyle and the philosophy of ‘less is more’ when it comes to travelling.

“It’s all about leaving the worries of the daily grind behind and really connecting with the natural surrounding,” Mr Yeo said.

“For so many reasons, tiny house stays are becoming a growing tourism movement around the world – especially in Australia where low-impact holidays and ecotourism are increasingly valued by travellers.”

Tiny Away offers guests the chance to immerse themselves in Australia’s vast flora and fauna, without compromising on comfort.

A step up from glamping, each tiny house offers hot showers, air conditioning, a cosy queen bed, and a kitchenette.

“We want to entice people out of the cities to experience and connect with the natural wonders of their country while treading lightly on the natural ecosystems and communities they visit,” Mr Yeo said.
