Cover your devices with RACQ Everyday Lite
We know there are more ways to get around than driving a car. RACQ Everyday Lite is roadside assistance for those who use devices to move.
- Cover your e-scooters, e-bikes, bicycles, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and other eligible devices
- Get up to 4 call outs per year
- We’ll arrange alternative transport up to $25 per call out (maximum $100 per year)
- We’ll tow your eligible device 10km in any direction if taxi, rideshare or maxi taxi options aren’t applicable

For mobility devices
What does RACQ Everyday Lite cover?
When your eligible personal mobility device breaks down, we’ll travel up to 50km to reach you up to four times a year.
If we can’t get your eligible device mobile, we’ll help transport your eligible device via taxi, rideshare or trailer.*

If your device fits in a carWe’ll provide up to $25 per call out for a standard taxi or rideshare so that you can put your device into the boot/luggage compartment. -
If your device needs a hydraulic liftWe’ll provide up to $25 per call out for a wheelchair accessible maxi taxi so that you can put your device aboard the taxi with the taxi driver’s assistance. -
If your device needs a trailerWe’ll provide a specialised trailer to transport your eligible device up to 10km from the point of breakdown, or we’ll arrange a tow truck if a trailer isn’t available.
What devices does RACQ Everyday Lite cover?
RACQ Everyday Lite covers any motorised or non-motorised personal mobility device that meets the following criteria:
- Used for private purposes only
- Has at least one wheel
- Has a braking system
- Does not require a licence for operation
- Roadworthy (where applicable)
- Dimensions don't exceed 1940mm in length and 1500mm in width.
- Combined weight of the device and its operator doesn't exceed 300kg
There are certain types of devices RACQ Everyday Lite doesn’t cover, including:
- Rented devices
- Golf carts, rollerblades, roller-skates and other devices as determined by RACQ from time to time

*During all transport arrangements, the operator will not be able to assist with lifting a person off/out of the mobility device, or into the designated transport method. Should this limitation prevent RACQ from assisting with your personal transport need, we can contact a nominated support person or Queensland Ambulance Service on your behalf. One instance of PMD Transport is available per Breakdown, and will be counted as one of the four call outs available p.a. For more information on limitations click here.
