Inclusions of RACQ Ultimate Care

• Member cover

  Cover no matter what eligible vehicle or device you're driving.

   
• Flat batteries

  If your battery is flat, we'll provide you with a jumpstart or organise a replacement battery at your cost.

   
• Towing

  If we can’t get your vehicle going, we can arrange for towing up to 100km in any direction, or, if you’re outside of the metro area, up to 200km to the attending RACQ service provider's premises or an intermediate location. We’ll also provide up to $250 per year for specialist towing, if it is required.

   
• Emergency fuel

  If you run out of fuel, we'll deliver enough unleaded or diesel fuel to get you to a fuel supplier (10 litres) up to four times per year.

   
• Lockout

  If you lock your keys in your car, we'll attempt to access them for you.

   
• Key Assist

  If your keys are broken, lost, or inaccessible inside your vehicle, RACQ will contribute up to $300 per year for locksmith services, towing and/or personal transport.

   
• Tyre changing

  If you’ve got a flat tyre, we’ll help you fit your car’s roadworthy spare tyre.

   
• Electric vehicle assistance

  If your electric vehicle runs out of charge, we’ll give you enough charge to drive to the nearest charging station in range. Or we’ll tow your EV to a charging station or other destination in line with your entitlements.

   
• Bogged vehicles

  We’ll help if your vehicle can be accessed from a constructed road or driveway.

   
• Device cover

  Cover for any eligible devices (e.g. e-scooters, e-bikes, bicycles, mobility scooters, wheelchairs) is included.

   
• Local entitlements

  When your vehicle must be towed for repair, we’ll provide up to $480 per year for taxi, rideshare or rental vehicles up until the end of the incident.

   
• Travel entitlements

  When your vehicle has a breakdown 100km or more from home and repairs will take more than 24 hours, you can choose one of the following options:

  • Accommodation (up to $2,400 per incident)
  • Rental vehicle for 12 days (up to $110 per day)
  • Accommodation (up to $1,200 per incident) plus rental vehicle up to 6 days (up to $100 per day)
  • Alternative economy class air, rail or coach passenger transport for up to 6 people to your home or destination
  • Vehicle recovery to your chosen location

   
• Caravan and trailer assistance

  We can provide key assist (up to $300 per year) and specialist towing (up to $250 per year), wheel changes and towing for caravans/trailers when they’re with your Nominated Vehicle which has broken down.  

   

The included entitlements have a yearly combined limit of $7,000.
