Be the first to hear about RACQ's new education programs
RACQ is currently developing new education programs to support the adults who play a critical role in guiding young learner and provisional drivers. Designed specifically for parents, carers, supervisors and community mentors, the program builds confidence, capability and practical skills to help adults support safer driving behaviours during one of the highest‑risk stages of a young person’s driving journey.
The programs are being designed to help adults:
- recognise key risks for learner and provisional drivers
- reinforce safe driving habits and how to manage distractions
- move from instruction to independence
- build confidence and skills as a driving supervisor
- encourage open, effective conversations about road safety
With these programs, RACQ aims to make the driving journey safer, more supportive and far less stressful for everyone involved.
