Changes to how we calculate household insurance premiums

You may be aware that we’re making changes to how we calculate your home cover premium. Namely, we’re moving toward a pricing model that reflects your individual circumstances. This changes the way we assess your level of risk and calculate the price you pay for insurance.

What this means for you

To provide you with this new and specific pricing we’ll need more information from you. Your answers to our additional questions will help us better understand your home. This means we can give you a more accurate premium.

To update your property details head over to your My RACQ account. From there you can navigate to the ‘Insurance’ tab and click ‘Update cyclone & flood details’.
