How to make your pet insurance claim

Check your policy documentsTo find out what you’re entitled to claim, it’s a good idea to read through your policy documents. These include your:
- Certificate of Insurance (you can find this in My RACQ)
- Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and any Supplementary PDS

Gather your informationTo help us process your claim as quickly as we can, it will help if you have the following information on hand:
- For each claim we will need the dates of any treatment and when the pet injury/illness was sustained
- If this is your first claim on this policy, we'll need your full vet history, any clinical notes or invoices paid and adoption paperwork if applicable
- For subsequent claims, we'll need any additional clinical notes or invoices paid
