Fee-for-service Fleet Care is an economical and flexible option for larger fleets that have a minimum of 21 vehicles.

To be eligible for Fleet Care your fleet must:

- be based predominately in Queensland
- all be covered.

Rental vehicle fleets
Fee-for-service Fleet Care Rental is an economical and flexible
breakdown assistance cover for rental car operators.
Fleet Care for rental cars provides:
- fee-for-service arrangement
- detailed monthly invoicing
- a low annual administration fee
- chargeback facility available for additional costs e.g. battery replacement
- dedicated 1800 number for breakdown assistance.
Eligibility
All rental vehicles must be covered under a fee for service roadside assistance. For rental fleets only, there is no minimum number of vehicles.
All rental vehicles must be registered and based predominately in Queensland. There is no minimum or maximum number of vehicles required to join RACQ Fleet Care Rental, but you must cover your entire fleet.
24-hour breakdown assistance anywhere, anytime
Your rental fleet will have access to a dedicated 24 hour help line offering rapid response, anywhere, anytime. Patrols carry a range of RACQ batteries that can be fitted on request and charged to your monthly account. If your company vehicle needs minor parts to be made mobile at the roadside a charge back facility is available (not available when vehicles are travelling interstate).
Breakdown and accident towing can be arranged with the RACQ service provider in the area where the
breakdown took place.
Taxi & limousine operators
Fee-for-service Fleet Care is the economical and flexible breakdown assistance cover for taxi and limousine operators.
Fleet Care for taxis and limousines provides:
- a simple fee structure
- fee-for-service roadside assistance.
Eligibility
Your business must be registered and based in Queensland. Fleet Care for taxis and limousines covers from one to several hundred vehicles.
24-hour rapid response
RACQ's 24-hour assistance line offers rapid response, anywhere, anytime.
Assistance for Oversized Vehicles
An oversized vehicle is any vehicle that exceeds one of the following: length 5.5m, width 2.3m, height 2.0m and/or GVM equal to or over 3 tonnes.
Where any nominated fleet vehicle is oversized, the standard call out fee applies and some limitations may apply. These are defined below;
- Jump starts may be provided, up to 24-volt boost start only.
- Batteries cannot be fitted to or serviced in Oversized Vehicles where there is limited access to the battery or substantial removal of vehicle panels is required.
- Lockout assistance will be provided at RACQ’s discretion, subject to availability. If specialist locksmith and/or parts are required, excess costs can be charged back to your account.
- Wheel changing assistance may be limited and may incur an additional fee which can be charged back to your account. The vehicle’s wheel nut spanner and jack (heavy duty, if required) must be provided.
- Mechanical towing – if the use of a larger tow truck is required, excess costs can be charged back to your account.
- Service for any vehicle is at the discretion of the RACQ consultant or the attending RACQ representative and may not be available interstate

Loyalty Benefits
Loyalty discounts are applicable to members with RACQ Roadside, Roadside Extra, Plus Care, Ultra Care and RACQ Ultimate. These discounts are not applicable to members with RACQ Business Roadside and Business Plus Care.
Waiting Period
- There is a 24-hour waiting period for RACQ Roadside Assistance following the processing and approval of RACQ applications.
- There is a 72-hour waiting period for Plus Care, Ultra Care and RACQ Ultimate benefits following the processing and approval of RACQ applications for these options.
- Benefits do not apply to any incident occurring within these waiting periods.
- Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of your product pack following approval of your application.
Vehicle Weight Limits
Limited Services apply for vehicles where the weight of the Nominated Vehicle exceeds 3.0 tonnes GVM loaded or unloaded and/or where the length exceeds 5.5 metres (18 feet) in length and 2.3 metres (7.5 feet) in width or 2.0 metres in height. Services are limited as follows:
• No towing entitlement. RACQ will endeavour to arrange towing subject to availability of a tow truck, this will be at the members expense.
• Batteries cannot be serviced or fitted to motor homes where there is limited access to the battery or substantial removal of vehicle panels is required
• Jump starts may be provided, up to 24-volt boost start only, providing only one battery is unserviceable
• Lockout assistance may be limited for some light commercial vehicles
• Wheel changing assistance may be provided if the vehicle’s jack and wheel nut spanner are provided. Where the weight of the wheel and tyre assembly is beyond the safe lifting capacity of a single person, a service fee for additional assistance may be charged.
Note: The decision as to whether services can be provided will be at the discretion of the RACQ consultant or the attending RACQ representative.
