Man collides with tree on Sunshine Coast

RACQ LifeFlight Rescue has airlifted a man suffering a broken leg and suspected chest injuries after crashing his motorbike into a tree while riding off-road on the Sunshine Coast.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics were the first on scene to treat the rider in his twenties before RACQ LifeFlight landed at the scene.

The crew airlifted the man to Sunshine Coast University where he remains in a stable condition.

This was the third mission in 24hrs for the RACQ LifeFlight crew involving a motorcycle rider.
