Long delays on major highway after truck rolls onto car

RACQ has warned motorists of long delays on the Bruce Highway after a serious truck crash at Forest Glen.

The Courier Mail reported a truck had rolled onto a car just before 8am on Tuesday.

RACQ spokesperson Lauren Ritchie said the Bruce Highway between Nambour Connection Road and Sunshine Motorway exit was heavily congested in both directions and expected to remain closed for several hours.

“Long delays are expected, and drivers should use an alternative route if possible,” Ms Ritchie said.

“Please avoid the area while emergency services are on scene.”
