A tragic end to the Easter holiday period on Queensland roads
A man and a woman died after a crash yesterday afternoon on the Bruce Highway south of Maryborough, leaving the State’s road toll for the Easter break at two.
Queensland Police Service said early investigations indicated a car had been driving northbound when it hit a vehicle travelling southbound and then collided head-on with a third vehicle.
The RACQ LifeFlight helicopter was called to airlift three people from the scene of the crash.
Meantime, a motorcyclist was this morning killed after a crash with a ute on Nudgee Road at Hendra in Brisbane.
