Your guide to MotorFest

Make the most of RACQ’s celebration of all things motoring and vehicle innovation.

The fun, atmosphere and excitement of RACQ MotorFest returns 10am-3pm on Sunday 13 June, after a hiatus in 2020.

All the family favourites will return, including market stalls, kids’ rides, food stalls and an array of wonderful prestige, vintage, unique and collector vehicles, as well as the latest in vehicle and transport technology and innovation.

RACQ’s Lauren Ritchie said the new Future Zone would allow members to explore alternative fuel vehicles, e-bikes and scooters, road safety technology and driverless vehicles.

“MotorFest is evolving with a growing focus on the cars and transport innovations of the future,” Ms Ritchie said.

“The Future Zone will showcase to Queenslanders the exciting options that are out there beyond the internal combustion engine, from hybrids to hydrogen cars, charging systems and much more.”

Classic car enthusiasts are in for a treat with hundreds of cars and motorcycles on display, including the world’s only known surviving 112-year-old Economy Model C Buggy, a hydrogen powered Hyundai and a Ford Cortina that has been converted to an electric vehicle.

“Every car, bike and truck on display at MotorFest has a story behind it,” Ms Ritchie said.

“We’re also proud to be able to put some of Queensland’s motoring history on display, including our very own historic fleet.”

There’s something for the whole family with food trucks, the Love Handmade markets, competitions, giveaways and a host of free entertainment including kids’ rides and face painting.
