RACQ drives $100k donation to UQ COVID-19 vaccine
“Whether it’s a natural disaster or a health crisis like COVID-19, we’re here to help Queenslanders get back on their feet,” Mr Carter said.
“Our donation to UQ has been made possible through the cancellation of several of our community events this year, including RACQ MotorFest.
“It gives us great pride to make sure this is put towards helping protect our community.”
Mr Carter said RACQ called on any members or businesses who were able to do so, to donate to UQ’s fundraising appeal.
“We know many Queenslanders are doing it tough right now, but if you’re able to do so and would like to personally support the search for a global vaccine, please consider donating,” Mr Carter said.
“It’s more important now than ever before we help the brightest minds in our state find ways to protect the most vulnerable now and into the future.”
