RACQ takes the stress out of choosing your new car
A new online car comparison tool empowers members to make informed decisions about their next car purchase.
RACQ has introduced a digital car comparison hub designed to simplify the car buying process by providing detailed information and advice on more than 10,000 models.
Queenslanders can use the platform on RACQ.com to simplify the often-complicated car-buying process by selecting one of three search options – make and model, shape and size or lifestyle and needs.
They can then focus on one specific model or nominate up to three different vehicles and compare them side by side.
With this feature users can conveniently compare vehicles by crosschecking a range of data points including price, fuel efficiency and safety ratings.
The car comparison hub also features the latest car reviews and mobility advice from RACQ with a focus on electric vehicles (EV) to keep members better informed as we transition to more sustainable mobility options.
RACQ General Manager Member Loyalty and Benefits Karen Wynn said the new hub was a one-stop shop for Queenslanders looking to better understand how new and used car options compared.
“Even if you are unsure of what vehicle you want, our car search options will allow you to compare cars and help you make an informed decision about which one is right for you,” Ms Wynn said.
“The comparison tool will showyou how different vehicles match up with detailed information including price, safety features and ratings, service intervals, estimated fuel costs and much more.
“The hub is also a great resource for those wanting to find out more about what EV and hybrid options are available, including the all-important driving ranges. It provides easy access to the information on EVs our members want as the transition to more sustainable mobility options continues to gather pace.”
Complementing the car comparison platform, RACQ has also introduced a new Car Buying Service, which is available to members at no cost.
The RACQ Car Buying Service is offered in partnership with Eagers Automotive whose consultants will provide expert advice on the best new vehicle options and technologies, including EVs.
