How do I change the vehicle listed on my car insurance policy?
You can change the vehicle details listed on your car insurance policy online using My RACQ. To make this easy, we've provided a handy list of steps to follow.
To change the vehicle listed on your car insurance policy:

Log in to My RACQ here to access your insurance dashboard. -
Select the car insurance policy you'd like to change the vehicle for. -
Scroll down to the 'Vehicle summary' section and select 'Change vehicle'. -
Complete the form to change your insured vehicle. This form includes 'Get started', 'General conditions', 'Find your replacement car', 'Car details', 'Main driver', 'Excess & sum insured', 'Review' and 'Payment' sections. Make sure you complete all sections.
While you can change the vehicle listed on your car insurance policy at any time, you cannot make multiple changes within 24 hours. Please select the 'Discard changes' button to clear your form if you wish to start over.
