How do I make a home and/or contents insurance claim?
To make a home insurance claim, you can either head to our home insurance claims page or claim via My RACQ to have certain details pre-filled. We've provided a handy list of steps to follow.
To make a home and/or contents insurance claim:

Log in to My RACQ here to access your insurance dashboard. -
Select the home/contents insurance policy you'd like to make a claim for. -
Select 'Make a claim'. -
Complete the form to make your home and contents insurance claim. This form includes 'Date and time', 'Your property', 'Incident details', 'Supporting documentation', 'Additional information', 'Bank details', 'Contact details' and 'Review' sections. To submit your claim, you must complete all sections. -
If life gets in the way, you have the option to save your claim and resume it at a later date. Simply select 'Save' at the top right hand of the screen, then enter your email address and select 'Save'.
