Car dealership agreement
RACQ members who’ve settled a flood-related motor vehicle claim with us get preferential access to a replacement vehicle through our agreements with Autopact, Motorama and Eagers.

Automatic cover
With RACQ, flood and storm damage is automatically covered with our car insurance and home and contents insurance. Subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy.
RACQ flood response
The 2022 flood event is one of Australia's worst natural disasters. We've received more than 14,000 insurance claims from across south east Queensland and northern New South Wales. Our assessors are continuing to help affected members as quickly as possible, while managing the significant demand and shortages facing the country's trade and supply networks.

These claims have been categorised against the Insurance Council of Australia declared Catastrophe #221 and #212 in south east Queensland and northern New South Wales.
