The State’s biggest celebration of motoring is returning to the Brisbane Showgrounds on Sunday 15 June, showcasing the best of the automotive world – from vintage classics to cutting-edge electric vehicles.

This year’s MotorFest highlights include the return of Future Zone, where attendees can explore the latest in motoring technology and test drive some of the newest electric vehicles.

RACQ’s Deputy Group Chief Executive Glenn Toms said there would also be more than 500 cars from across the world on display, including one of the country's rarest – a six-door 1970 Ford Falcon XY.

“We’ve managed to find one of the rarest cars in Australia and we’re looking forward to welcoming the limousine like Ford Falcon XY and its owner to MotorFest,” Mr Toms said.

“The main arena will be filled with the most impressive classic cars from across the world, from British and American models to Asian, European and Australian vehicles.

“There will be so much to marvel at including motorsport, motorcycles, veteran and vintage models and we will be announcing winners from each category at 10:40am.”

The Club is also celebrating a centenary of RACQ Roadside Assistance, with a special display featuring the historic fleet and a phone booth for attendees to call in a roadside job, just like patrols used to.

“We have an incredible history to celebrate as a Club and we’re looking forward to showcasing our impeccable historic fleet as well as a range of memorabilia from the archives,” Mr Toms said.

“In addition to our 100th anniversary, iconic American carmaker Chrysler is also celebrating its centenary and there will be dozens of stunning early and late model Chryslers on display.

“Whether you’re a motoring enthusiast, want to enjoy a family day out or test out the latest vehicle technology, there really is something for everyone at MotorFest.”

More than 10,000 people are expected to attend MotorFest 2025 with proceeds from all ticket sales going to the RACQ Foundation to help Queensland communities improve their resilience following natural disasters.

Entry is just $2 per person and children under three are free. Gates open at 10am with MotorFest set to wrap up at 3pm with a vehicle cavalcade.
