With 61 years of tradition, the Laidley Spring Festival brings the valley alive with enchantment and charm.

We’re thrilled to welcome back the renowned Australian chef, gardener, and media personality Paul West as the Laidley Spring Festival Ambassador. 

Paul, the former host of River Cottage Australia and a regular presenter on ABC Radio, will delight foodies and gardeners alike with his cooking and gardening demonstrations.

Over three jam-packed days, Laidley invites you to dive into all the Spring Festival has to offer; Enjoy the Orchid Show, Artist Exhibition, Gem Show, stunning car show, Quilts and Crafts, museums and a wide array of markets. 

The Spring Gardening Fair features guest horticultural expert and ABC commentator Claire Bickle. Friday’s festivities culminate in the Twilight Feast & Fest, a free live concert in the park with festoon lighting, food trucks, and artisanal markets.

Saturday is when the magic truly happens with the Laidley Street Parade, themed Spring Magic, showcasing decorative floats, vintage cars, and roving performers. Enjoy live entertainment, market stalls, food trucks, and the Show ‘n’ Shine car competition. 

Sunday is all about the kids with Bee Happy Day in the nearby town of Forest Hill—a celebration of Spring with a delightful bee theme.

This year, all events are conveniently within walking distance of the Festival Precinct in the recreational grounds. With ample parking and a free shuttle bus running between main venues, getting around is a breeze.
