Estimated on-road price
An estimated on-road price is shown for all current model vehicles that are still available as a new purchase through a dealership.
Estimated on-road prices are a calculation based on a vehicle’s manufacturer’s list price (MLP) and include all additional costs, where applicable, such as goods and services tax (GST), luxury car tax (LCT), stamp duty, registration, dealer delivery estimate, compulsory third party insurance (CTP), motor tax and plate fees. Please note that comprehensive or third party fire and theft insurance costs have not been included in these on road costs. All prices are reflective of Queensland pricing.
It is important to note that the estimated on-road price does not include additional costs for vehicles such as Ute trays for cab chassis. Furthermore, certain vehicle manufacturers do not provide an MLP and instead use a national driveaway price. In these instances, the estimated on-road price displayed may be inaccurate.
All prices provided are intended to be used as a guide only. All on-road costs that make up the overall estimated on-road price are annual costs and are therefore reviewed and updated on an annual basis. Note that in the case of electric vehicles, any available Government rebates have not been taken into consideration. Whilst all care has been taken, RACQ does not warrant or represent that the information is accurate, reliable, complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose. You should not use or rely upon this information without conducting independent research and assessment of a vehicle.

Indicative used car price
An indicative average used car price is shown for older model vehicles that are no longer in production and cannot be ordered new through a dealership.
Indicative average used car prices are an average calculation based on a vehicle’s listed minimum and maximum market value as provided by Glass’s Information Services.
All estimations assume vehicles are in average condition with standard factory fitted equipment only. These estimations provide only an indicative price for vehicles sold in the open market. Any vehicles in considerably better or worse condition than average, or that have travelled more or less KMs than average, or with optional equipment fitted may fall outside of the estimation provided.
All prices provided are intended to be used as a guide only. Prices are not reflective of trade-in values or an insurance market value. Whilst all care has been taken, RACQ does not warrant or represent that the information is accurate, reliable, complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose. You should not use or rely upon this information without conducting independent research and assessment of a vehicle.
Results for individual vehicles may vary.

Emissions rating
An emissions score between 1 and 10 is calculated for each vehicle based on the vehicle’s ranking across the following inputs; vehicle type, CO2 emissions, CO2 standard, power train, fuel type and the vehicle's Euro emissions standard. The vehicle’s emissions rating is then assigned according to that emissions score. Potential emissions ratings are Zero, Low, Average, High or Very High.
All emissions ratings are related to tailpipe emissions only.
-
Car review
Car review scores are calculated based on both objective and subjective measures that are input across up to 4 categories; value for money, design & function, on-the-road and off-road (for vehicles that have an off-road capability).
All vehicle scores are contributed by motoring editors who are specialists within their field. While RACQ endeavours to ensure that all moderated content is current and objective, RACQ does not warrant or represent that the information is accurate, reliable, complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose.
All review content has been provided as a guide only and should not be taken as direct advice for your personal circumstances.
You should not use or rely upon this information without considering its appropriateness to you and conducting your own independent research and assessment of a vehicle.
Results for individual vehicles may vary.

Fuel / recharge cost per fill is calculated for vehicles based on; fuel type, fuel octane, tank or battery capacity and the fuel or electricity price reference for Queensland.
Fuel / recharge cost per 100km is calculated for vehicles based on; fuel type, fuel octane, official combined fuel consumption (as recorded in laboratory testing to the relevant standard) and the fuel or electricity price reference for Queensland.
The fuel price reference for Queensland is based on the weighted average (by number of sites) of Queensland metro and regional centres per quarter. These prices are reviewed and updated quarterly. Prices last updated 01/10/2024.
The electricity price reference for Queensland uses an averaged domestic electricity tariff 11. With Tariff 11, customers are charged the same usage rates for electricity regardless of the time of day. These prices are reviewed and updated annually. Prices last updated 01/08/2023.
All fuel cost calculations are approximations and are intended to be used as a guide only to aid in the comparison of cost and consumption across vehicles. You should not use or rely upon this information without conducting your own independent research and assessment of a vehicle.
Results for individual vehicles may vary. Actual fuel consumption per vehicle may vary and will ultimately depend on how you use and maintain your vehicle.
