There are some situations, events, and types of loss we don’t cover. These include:- Pets other than your dog or cat
- Any pre-existing condition suffered by your dog or cat (this includes conditions claimed for in previous insurance periods)
- Preventative, elective, or routine vet care
- Injury or illness resulting from a business or sporting event (dog and cat shows are accepted)
- Costs relating to or resulting from the death of your dog or cat or from them becoming lost
