RACQ’s flood response continues

RACQ teams are working hard to support members as the response to Queensland’s devasting flood event continues.

At 11am on Friday, 4 March, RACQ had received 9,435 insurance claims, including 7,552 for homes and 1,883 for vehicles.

Members have lodged claims from areas including Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, the Sunshine Coast and Gympie.

RACQ’s Mobile Member Centre is also on the ground in Gympie, with claims and assessing staff supporting members.

The quickest and easiest way to lodge a claim is online, or if you would prefer to speak to a consultant, you can give us a call on 13 72 02.

RACQ is also offering tailored disaster relief packages to banking members impacted by the current weather events. Impacted members can contact RACQ Bank on 13 1905 to discuss the options available to them.

With storms and rainfall also on the radar, drivers are reminded to remain vigilant on the roads.

Motorists should plan ahead, be prepared to turn around if they come across floodwaters, and remember to obey all road closure signage.
