Open an account
To start the process of switching banks, you’ll first need to open an account with us. With great rates and low fees, compare and select one of the following bank accounts:
Transfer your salary
Once you’ve opened your new RACQ Bank account, arrange for your salary to start being paid into it. Simply download the form below to inform your HR of your new account.
You can also organise to have other direct credits such as pension, investments, Medicare or Centrelink payments transferred into your new account.
You can change your pension, Medicare and Centrelink payments via your myGov account.
Redirect regular payments
Next, arrange to have all your regular payments taken out of your new account. Consider things like pay TV, gym, phone bill, internet, health insurance and utilities. To make sure you cover everything, you may like to contact your current bank to source a list of frequent payments.
Close your old account
Finally, close your account with your old bank, and the job is done!
